You acknowledge and accept that by using our services you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions. By accessing our website, browsing our website or making bookings from our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and fully accept our terms and conditions.

Our Booking Procedure

Bookings can be made by:

Please understand we are a full time dog training business, If you call and we do not answer we will return your call as soon as possible. Sometimes we are in a lesson and will not answer and we will forward the courtesy to you when we are in a lesson.

• Website

We will respond and give you information about our dog training programs.

If you are unsure about the charges for any of our programs please contact us using the above means and we will happily clarify the fees for you.

Payment
Payment terms are Direct Debit or Cash. Full payment is required on or before the commencement of the service.

 

Cancellations

We will refund any monies paid by you should you elect to cancel a service provided that you give us a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to the commencement our services. If you fail to give us the required notice, then all monies paid to us will be forfeited. Once a service has started no refunds in part or full will be given.

Vaccinations and treatments

All dogs must have current vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.

​

Accidents

We are not responsible for picking up any excrement left by your dog prior to or at the commencement of our services. If we are training in a public area please make sure you bring with you dog poo bags.

Wet weather

We are not responsible for drying your dog in the event they get wet from training in wet weather. It is advisable to wear suitable clothing closed in shoes as surfaces do get slippery in these conditions as well.

 

Damage

If in the event your dog damages furniture, personal items and property, you agree to be charged for the damage incurred including the cost to have the item professionally cleaned, repaired or replaced.

Special Requirements

Should your dog have any special requirements which we need to be aware of, please let us know.

Release

You agree to release us, our trainers, agents and employees from all liability for injury, death, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to your dog while in the care of, or being transported by, or being directly supervised by us, our trainers, agents and employees.

Media Release

By accepting our full terms and conditions, you also consent and agree that K9 by Design Dog Training, its employees, or agents have the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings of yourself, your family member and your pets during puppy and dog training classes, and to use these in any and all media, now or hereafter known, and exclusively for the purpose of marketing and education.

 

What to bring to your dog training lesson

• Vaccination Certificate

• Flat leather or cotton (no Chain) dog lead

• Flat Collars (Buckle or Snap Lock variety), Martingale collar. Please DO NOT have your dog on a choke chain (also called check chains), electric shock collar, citronella collar or prong collar

• Enclosed shoes

• Fresh food treats / favourite toy

• Poo bags

 

Rules

• Vaccination Certificate

• Enclosed Footwear

• No late arrivals

• All dogs on leash and wearing collar

• No contact between dogs – Do not allow dogs to meet each other unless instructed by a K9 by Design Dog Training instructor

• No sick or injured dogs

• Permission must be given before approaching another clients dog

• Only enrolled dogs permitted

 

 

INDEMNITY DISCLAIMER

The Client acknowledges that obedience training/behaviour modification may be an activity in which damage or injury to dog(s) and/or persons may occur. You the Client will assume full financial/moral responsibility for the actions of their dog(s). The Client further acknowledges that dog(s) may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions which include, but are not limited to, vehicular traffic, interaction with people and other animals, exposure to adverse weather, and exposure to areas with crowds and all types of traffic. K9 by Design Dog Training will endeavour to create the safest environment as possible for the training of my dog and will offer only sound, safe, and responsible training instructions based on the current knowledge and best practices.

I/We Client agree that I, my/our heirs, assignees and legal representatives will not make claim against, sue, or attach the property of the consultant, his family, acquaintances, or any other person acting on his behalf (herein referred to as ‘His Agents’), for injury or damage done to or by dogs(s) resulting from action or negligence, however caused, by Consultant or His Agents. I/We Client forever release Consultant and/or His Agents from any and all liability and demands which I/We Client, and my/our heirs, assignees and legal representatives may have or may hereafter have for injury or damage to or by dog(s), and assume all risks thereof.

This contract for Training Services supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, previously made between Client and Consultant.

Acknowledgment and acceptance of terms and conditions

 

By accessing, browsing or using this Web Site, you agree to these terms, conditions and disclaimers as amended from time to time (“Terms & Conditions”) and acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.

K9 by Design Dog Training may amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any amendment will be effective immediately. Your continued use of this Web Site after any amendment becomes effective constitutes an agreement by you to abide and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as so amended.
